Apologies for the late notice, but with the holidays and the Christmas Bird Count season upon us I’ve fallen behind on organizing the regular meetings and outings of Carpinteria Birdwatchers. As a result I’ve decided to cancel the monthly Carpinteria Birdwatchers meeting and group outing for November and December, and concentrate instead on preparing for the upcoming Carpinteria Christmas Bird Count, which will take place on Saturday, December 17, 2022. I hope you’ll consider participating in the count; it should be a lot of fun. See the page below for a link to the signup form and other details:

I hope everyone has a great holiday season. I look forward to seeing you all again in January.

Hi John!
We are in town for Thanksgiving enjoying the family and we gave our grandson the local birds card from the Natural History Museum. He was thrilled!
We live on the fourth floor in Lihue Hi on Kauai with a five story “shower”tree that we look and listen into all day long from both rooms! Heavenly!
Enjoy our fine feathered friends! We are!
