Join us on Thursday, April 17, 2025, at 6:30 p.m. for the next Carpinteria Birdwatchers meeting. This month, we’ll explore the social dimension of birding.
Birding has always been a community activity, but today’s digital tools create new opportunities and challenges, from properly documenting a rarity in eBird to giving clear directions when sharing bird locations. The presentation will include tips for balancing our enthusiasm for birds with consideration for both the birds themselves and our fellow birders. Whether you’re new to birding or have years of experience, this discussion seeks to offer useful perspectives on how we can bird better together.
The meeting will take place in-person at the Carpinteria Community Library and online via Zoom. Hope to see you there!
