As part of the Carpinteria Community Library’s ongoing “Wild Things” series, a talk on the recovery of the California Condor will be held at the library at 6 p.m. this Wednesday, January 28, 2026. The talk will be given by Michael Clark, founder of the California Condor Alliance. Although this is not a Carpinteria Birdwatchers event, I’m excited about the talk and planning to attend! More information about the event, which is free, is available at the Carpinteria Library website: CONDORS! a WILD THINGS! talk.
