For our next group outing we’ll return to the eastern part of the Carpinteria Bluffs. Starting at the Viola Fields parking area off Carpinteria Avenue, we’ll bird the coastal bluffs trail toward the Rincon Bluffs Preserve and back again, taking advantage of the excellent coastal habitat and ocean views. Join us on Saturday, August 23, 2025 at 8 a.m.

- Details: Meet at the paved parking area on the east side of Viola Fields at the Carpinteria Bluffs Nature Preserve. Note: this is NOT the Bailard Avenue parking area, but the parking area on the east side of Viola Fields. We’ll bird along the coastal bluffs trail heading east toward the Rincon Bluffs Preserve and back.
