Fall migration is under way, so for our next group outing I thought we’d visit a famous local “migrant trap”: Carpinteria Creek between 6th Street and the State Beach Campground. Join us on Saturday, September 21 at 8 a.m. to see what interesting birds we can find.

- Location: Carpinteria Creek accessed from the east end of 6th Street
- Date/time: Saturday, September 21, 2024, 8:00 a.m. – 10:00 a.m.
- Details: Take Palm Avenue south toward the beach, then turn left onto 6th Street and drive to the end. There should be parking available across from the Lou Grant Parent Child Workshop as well as along 6th Street in front of the Carpinteria Sanitary District offices.
