For our next group outing I thought we’d head back to Toro Canyon Park. It’s spring, so the nesting birds are singing and migrants are coming through. It should be a lot of fun.
Special note: Due to a schedule conflict this month’s outing will be one week later than usual, on the fourth Saturday of the month: Saturday, April 26, 2025.
- Location: Toro Canyon County Park, 576 Toro Canyon Park.
- Date/time: Saturday, April 26, 2025, 8:00 a.m. – 10:00 a.m.
- Details: From Via Real, take Toro Canyon Road north for 3 miles, then turn right on Toro Canyon Park road. The park entrance is on the left about a mile along the road. We’ll do an easy stroll around the park’s parking lots and picnic areas.
As always, Carpinteria Birdwatchers outings are free and open to all ages and ability levels. Hope to see you there!
